I've been following you for a while now, and this truly makes me happy. You are lucky to have a friend like him who shares the same passion as you. I'm still looking for someone like that.
Seeing you two on set working together and creating this amazing movie really puts things in perspective. I wish you keep doing more od this, and can't wait for the premiere! :)

On our first film, everything went perfectly. We planned and contingent planned EVERYTHING so that we would not be caught off guard. And it worked. Except for one minor detail that we did not count on. As we were setting up on the first day of shooting, I got a call from our lead actor that was in 90% of the shots. He had to bow out due to a callback from Universal Studios for a small speaking role that he had auditioned for months before... I could not begrudge him cancelling for the chance that he was given. I was not pleased though and now had to punt.

I had a friend on set that was going to PA for me. The rest of the crew asked me on several occasions if he was the lead actor due to his good looks. When I got my cancellation I decided it was time to see if the PA could act. I approached him about it and he was onboard. I offered a script to him to go through the lines but he demurred stating he had already memorized the entire script. We did a quick screen test on location with him and I was shocked. He was a complete natural. Better than the original actor that I had booked.

We got lucky...

Huge Congratulations!!! That was some serious problem solving you had to do on the fly and you guys did it! You and Joey make such a great team. The cinematography is beyond stunning. I have no doubt that this is just the beginning of a great partnership and many more epic films to come. Jackson loved working with you both. One of his favorite projects to date. Westerns are awesome!! Please do more. 🤠🐴

I would love to see you guys do a budget breakdown and what you thought was most important to throw money into. As a fellow low budget filmmaker, I'm curious what you valued most. (smart to rope in a bunch of gear through sponsorships) Also, I'd love to hear you talk about casting. In any case, excited to learn more and hear more about this project. Awesome work, looks fun.
