These FOAs are associated with the Beau Biden Cancer Moonshot℠ Initiative that is intended to accelerate cancer research. Specifically, these FOAs fall under a scientific priority designated by the Blue Ribbon Panel (BRP) as Recommendation A "Establish a Network for Direct Patient Engagement.
