I Put Wichita State in NCAA Football to Rebuild Them

In this NCAA Football 14 video, I gave Wichita State a football program. The gameplay is from college football revamped, otherwise known as NCAA Football 23.

As a Kansas native I was happy to see you build Wichita State from scratch. They deserve it and I was rooting even if you did beat my K-State boys. Great video. Would love to see you do a K-State dynasty but like you recruit only from juco, Kansas, and Georgia like Bill Snyder loved doing. If not, another cool rebuild would be Wake Forest. Also, the crash is largely the reason there isn’t a team as well as poor financial lobbying for it and now the recent decision to tear down the old Cessna Stadium on campus (for good reason, it was basically falling apart). It’s an expanding campus and they have room for it if they wanted to go for it, but the money isn’t there and they’d have to try to out recruit Kansas, K-State, nearby JUCOs like Hutch CC and Butler CC, as well as teams from surrounding states. Solid talent pool especially in Derby, but the best players that stay in-state there are 100% looking for those Kansas and K-State type offers

One thing I’ve learned and appreciate about 14 vs 06 is. In 14, you can rebuild in about 4-6 years and be a stud program. In 06, after about 8 years, you’re still rebuilding. It’s a harder process which I appreciate but understanding that most people arent trying to rebuild for a long time

Wichita state was actually a pretty good D1 team in the 50s and 60s but the plane crash in 1970 crippled the team for a while and they never really recovered and after struggling in the divison 1 world for around 16 years. Wichita State no longer had enough funding for the program so they shut it down.

Being I’m from Kansas and I’m close to Wichita it would be interesting if they did bring back football to Wichita state i believe they could convince Wichita recruits to stay home

I feel like I have the most crazy challenge: Make South Carolina, a team that has gotten so much talent from transfers yet never used them to full potential, a national champion. List of challenges so you don't have to think of your own, and you have 7 years, just like how long you took for Wichita State:
1. Sign a top 10 recruiting class
2. Win the SEC
3. Have a winning record against Clemson
4. Win the Heisman
5. Defeat all your rivals
6. Win the national championship
