I built a model trebuchet, no plans just a picture. It was about 12" high, but I was not prepared for the intricate design requirements. It took me about 5 days to build and 2-3 days for the finer points to be finalised, I really enjoyed building it. I can only imagine the shock that castle dwellers had seeing boulders coming for you.
