Minecraft FTB Inferno - A Modpack Review

I conclude some of my thoughts after completing the FTB Inferno modpack for Minecraft 1.18.

The issues you listed with MineColonies are what I ran into with it in a kitchen sink pack. It feels very inefficient, and I was automating everything to build with and it was all set by the time I could make the colony self sufficient. MineColonies feels like a mod that shines on its own, like vanilla+.

The reason why Minecolonies felt so stilted with creativity is that the buildings were locked to a specific variant due to the pack being Nether based for most of the pack.

I love that you do reviews of the packs you play after you finish them. I'm not even the kind of person who would ever play an expert modpack, I much more prefer kitchen sink packs, but you are certainly one of the most qualified people to talk about these things considering how many hours you put into all of them and I think that makes these videos worth watching even for someone not as interested in playing these kinds of packs.

Definitely agree with your critisms here, it sometimes felt like we were watching a pack in its final beta. Nevertheless a great pack to watch and a great series! Hoping the FTB team continue to polish the pack and it becomes a classic !

This was a great series and a very cool pack, but constantly being in the gloomy nether did get a little oppressive over time. Definitely looking forward to more Threefold vids in the overworld moving forward.
