Our family ages 6-64 disembarked the Grandeur last week. I dare say it was the best cruise out of 8 different RC ships and 2 holland that we have taken. The kids loved it. Adults loved it. 🤫 Lets keep this our secret.

Glad you had the opportunity to get away. I’m so sorry that you are grieving your fur baby. Thanks for the honest review of this older ship. I loved Carnivals older ships and like the more intimate feel that smaller ships offer. I understand there are limited offerings compared to the bigger ships and this review should help remind folks of that.

Maybe you should cruise Royal more often! They do let you do the muster drill on the app and go check-in!

Thank you both so much for this video- I am truly sorry for the loss of your sweet little baby. I will be going on a cruise in March on a Grandeur ship out of Fort Lauderdale, and came across your videos as I was doing research on the ship. The past few years have been very difficult for me, starting right around the time my cat started declining in health. She was almost 19 years old, and I'd had her since she was about 8 weeks old. I had to make the decision to put her down and now, almost 2 years later, I still struggle to come to terms with it- so I can completely understand just wanting to get away to help you heal. It's part of the reason why I am going now, too. I didn't have the option to go on a cruise 2 years ago, but now I do. One thing I am glad about is that I didn't go with an inside cabin- I am claustrophobic and from your description, it sounds like I made the right choice by not booking a smaller or interior cabin. Managed to nab an Owner's Suite and am really looking forward to that! Sure, it was a bit extra, but not nearly as expensive as on the newer, bigger ships, but it looks worth it for the extra cabin space, larger balcony, and large bathroom- with your own Jacuzzi/whirlpool tub. I don't think I'm even going to leave my room for the entirety of my trip 😂

Always do inside cabin on a quick getaway but got to have my Balcony on a longer cruise. Love your videos

So sorry for your loss. It’s hard. The last cruise we were on summer 2022 - haven’t left the port. Got a call that our 4 year old Golden Retriever, Ginger died suddenly. No warning. No cause detected. The cruise we have booked for June 2025 will be our 1st since that one. Starting to pray now that our current 2 fur babies will be safe & healthy. That particular cruise was very nice but I was miserable all week.

The only issue is as a Canadian the flights to Tampa will cost 2k plus for our family of 4, so great price for the cruise but flights hurts lol

The ship pictured under your Pros and Cons looks like the Emerald Princess. Definitely not the Lady G...which I love!
