I am a former Marine. I had active duty for six years. I received orders to Vietnam, and I was blessed to have them changed to headquarters company, office of the staff, judge advocate, legal section, and stayed on the east coast of the United States. I am combat trained, I am not a combat veteran.

My father in law...a USAF Master Sergeant in Aircraft Maintenance...went to the personnel office to correct his orders to Vietnam. They had listed him as a non-volunteer on his orders. He immediately went to the personnel office and had it changed to volunteer. He went to Vietnam twice as a volunteer. He was also in aircraft maintenance in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam...as a volunteer.

My dad was a WWII combat vet (29th Infantry, 2nd wave on Omaha Beach), He hated wars, but he never bailed out of the military after that. He retired at the maximum service years as a Senior Master Sergeant.
He would have a lot of bad feelings for this coward.
