The Mystery of Jews in Japan ~ Susanoo-No-Mikoto Part I

There are many theories about the origins of the Japanese people. One of them is that at least part of Japanese population comes from Israelite origin. Clues to this potential connection may be embedded in modern Japanese daily customs and in Japanese mythology. If we follow these clues we can find a potential trail to the last known time and place of the group of people known as the “10 Lost Tribes of Israel”.

There are numerous clues and the story of Susanoo-No-Mikoto is a good one to examine.

Since publishing the video “The Mystery of Jews in Japan” six years ago, I have received a lot of feedback and continued to research and document this topic. The following is an amalgamation of theories and facts that currently exist in the research of the origins of the Japanese people and the group known as ‘The Lost Tribes of Israel’. Is the connection real? What do you think? Thank you for watching!

If you look at the words differently, Susanoo No Mikoto is similar to- hakamto mi shushan
Which in Hebrew translates to “he arose from shushan” or “he came from shushan”
The capital city of the ancient persian empire

Oh my gosh....you just answered my question! My great grandfather managed Ise Shrine, was sent to Germany by the government to study Religions. He was a son of a shrine in Kumano and was wondering if he was a descendant of Jew tribe and started researching about the association between Kumano and Jew. And I just found today that his family name is listed on the Jewish Based names. He was awarded medals by the government for some reasons, I should find it out! Thank you for making this video!!

As a Jew, this vid got something wrong . Shmainawa ropes reminds me not of the mezuzah, but of the idea of ERUV, a string that allows you to carry on Shabbat (the rules are more complicated... )ERUV also can be a separation of a place that is holy and everything that is regular....

So, I'd like to point out a couple things here. One, there are a ton of these theories connecting different peoples from all over the globe to one of the ten lost tribes. This is due to the fact that Christian missionaries were constantly seeking a way to centralize their worldview with the encounter of new cultures. In fact, this particular theory was suggested by a missionary in the late 1800s, who used as evidence apparent racial similarities and some of the mythological evidence mentioned here.

Recently, however, DNA testing has functionally disproved any such ancestry. Mythological similarities may be due to a shared ancestry going back before either of the two groups, or merely point to global similarities is culture.

I heard that SHIMINAWA represents the clouds, and the white paper is lightning. It shows that the place is a sacred place.

feels quite farfetched, but it is possible some people migrated to East Asia. in Tang China, there was an Iranian community who escaped persecution for example. that said, how much cultural impact those refugees had on the local population can be debatable.

It's not theories or coincidences. It's been proven to be true on so many levels, that Japan and Isreal both have accepted it as truth.

Japanese and Chinese are not from the 12 tribes of Israel . The Chinese nor the Japanese were never in Egypt as slaves.. There are no paintings or carvings on the walls of the ancient Egyptian temples that looks like Chinese or Japanese . The children of Israel look exactly like the ancient Egyptian..

Desparate attempt to claim japanese relation because they are successful. Japaese make no claim any where in their oral or written history connection to Israel or Jews.

Japanese come from Ammon Ben Lot, that's not very essoteric knowledge, but I am curious of potential Israelite migration. However Ammon son of lot would've practiced laws Abraham kept which we know were what mosses learned from God.
