हां, अब्दाली एक अच्छा योद्धा था, लेकिन तभी तक, जब तक उसने सिख योद्धाओं (जस्सा सिंह अहलूवालिया, जस्सा सिंह रामगरिया, हरि सिंह नलवा, महाराजा रणजीत सिंह और भी अन्य) का सामना नहीं किया था, सिख योद्धाओं से युद्ध में अफदली को मूंह की खानी पढ़ी थी । जिसके बाद उसकी कभी भारत वापिस आने की हिम्मत नही हुई।
