I see these waymo vans everywhere and never had any issues with them. I’m all for making my drive and pedestrians safer. Arizona can get a lot of snowbirds who should be using these self driving cars instead of doing it themselves lol

Have them come test it here in Canada where there’s snow on the ground and you can’t see the lines at all and people drive like idiots when the roads are slippery.

Self driving vehicle is the future. Each year in the US tens of thousands of people die in car crashes. Autonomous vehicles will make the road much safer!

You think they could house the spinning lidar things in a glass enclosure. One stray branch or bush sticking out could cause havoc. Other than that, excellent stability.

It's easy to make people less anxious about no driver behind the wheel, just make them can't see the wheel. Separate the cabin like what TAXI / Limo did or just have backward seat. Problem solved.
