I just did it today. Didn't need my papers (brought my registration anyway). They just asked for my license plate, zip code, and last 5 of my VIN. This was crazy helpful though. I was nervous I would mess it up. In and out and was about my day. With a high ass late fee though. 😆Now that I know it's this easy. I'll be sure to get ahead of it next year.

Thank you for this video and the answers. I can confirm that you can enter the info manually if you have neither the renewal or the old registration, I just did it today. Listen to the voice prompts, it will say touch the green arrow to enter information manually. You need the plate number. I ‘m sorry I can’t remember if it asked for VIN, I don’t think it did. I think it pulled up the data right away after entering license plate. The bit of difficulty today was when it was time to pay, the prompt was stuck saying if you haven’t entered your information, please do it now. But it did that to the next one in line too who had the barcodes, while the card slot was already blinking blue and beeping to let you know to place the credit card into the lot (tapping did not work for me and the person after me.)

Renewed license via mail over a month ago. Haven't yet received the license and 2022 tag.
Per phone call to DMV customer rep, my personal check was received & fees paid.
Customer Rep recommended me to contact the Post Office.
When asked what to do if stopped by the police, her response was, "It's just a 'fixit' ticket".
A 'fixit' ticket is a day from work and Traffic Court.
(Provided, of course, I'm not murdered by the cop as I reach into my purse for the DMV renewal notice).
Next year, I'll use the kiosk.

i renewed my registration, it was sent to the wrong address, then i couldnt change my address because it needed my new registration date, and I cant even verify that my registration is paid for in the looks like ill try the kiosk

- needed license renewed

- went online

- renewed license

- license never came in mail.

- went to physical DMV location

- physical location had changed!

- Day Two to new physical location!! In a mini-mall! Not at all visible from the road, no signs

- new physical location does not do licenses!!!

- I am now into the 10th hour of trying to get this done

- I looked at the staff person who was just telling me that this site does not do the work I need.

- I looked at her and said, "I am going to go home now and cry."
