When I was growing up in New Orleans in the 50's and 60's my parents had a West Bend 30 cup coffee urn on the kitchen counter. A full urn was brewed in the morning, and another was brewed in the late afternoon, we always had company and family at the house, and a lot of coffee was consumed. Good memories.

Ours says 1 cup of coffee grinds for every 10 cups of water. 2 cups of coffee=20 cups of water; 3 cups of coffee=30 cups of water; so on and so forth.

The measurements that came with mine are trash. It doesn’t make “mild” coffee. It makes water coffee. It’s gross. Do better WestBend!
