As far as I understand this is a thermal paste issue because CPU is getting hot and by the time thermal paste is not cooling it. Just applying a thermal paste would make it work again. I’ll try soon

I have exactly the same tones. Two simple tones after I turn it on, and a more sophisticated melody when I press-n-hold power button again.

Unscrewing the laptop and pressing it with pillow makes it proceed with boot. So now i never power off my laptop, leaving it on or in sleep mode every night, making sure it never runs out of battery. So essentially this laptop became non-portable

I am working on my e14 gen2 intel laptop regularly since Dec 2021. And from the very beginning I turned off fans because they are too noisy. It throttles and compile performance is reduced by some 30% but silence is more important to me. When my laptop dies, I will buy p14s with ryzen, which is much faster and less noisy.

@hamza I have the same issue and my friend as well after a 2nd year. Is there might be another solution rather than motherboard replacement?

You can diagnose the sounds with a Lenovo app, probably an easy fix.

probably a dead motherboard, modern laptops are just so shit, they just die for no reason what so ever.
