I wouldn't be surprised considering that Edgeshot is not a surgeon for one, and two emergency open heart surgery was performed by a hero with probably no experience performing such a feat, while under heavy resistance from All-For-One and Shigaraki at the same time. The icing on the cake, every hero is under some form of stress or duress trying to stop an unstoppable force.
