What is operations? Do you know how to manage your business operations? Bootkik's, Deland Jessop sat down to discuss how to manage your business operations.

The general process of operations is taking some sort of input, taking steps and operating on it in some capacity and developing some sort of output for your customer.

When you think about operations your want to do it as efficietntly as possible, you want to reduce the number of wasted resources, reduce the amount of time and energy and money it takes to create those outlets.
It all comes down to solving problems, how can we do things more efficiently? What steps are necessary and what steps aren't?

Productivity = outputs/inputs

Jessop says you need to reduce the number of inputs that go into a system and improve the number of outputs for success.

Do you want to grow your business quickly and profitably? If so, the only way to start is with an honest assessment of your business as it exists right now.
