All Countries Sex Ratio Comparison (2018)

This video shows a comparison of sex (male to female) ratios among all countries in 2018. In most of the cases, there tend to be more women than men in more developed regions of the world. Some regions like Hong Kong, Taiwan, French Guiana are excluded in this comparison because they are not being recognized as countries by United Nations.

Mostly USSR nation's in the upper female ratio cause many million men died in world war 2.

I loved the style of presentation, but I have a humble suggestion for you. The gender comparison was quiet interesting but statistics were not so much, because most of countries are around 50%, so this makes presentation a little bit boring and monotone. I recommend you that find more elastic datas to compare which can make statistics more absorbing. But I still love your job, cause I m also a social science student and I also love to make statistic analysis. Keep adding video like this 👍

These statistics only tell half a story. Most countries have more younger men and elder women. Partially a result from WW2, where lots of young men died young. Also, men have a large bias to die younger, because of this and more riskful behaviour. On the other side, there are born more males than females, because of a nature bias, making the birth ratio 1.03 men vs 1.00 women. That's why young men have more trouble finding a girl than young women do. The bias of men got rectified around the 30's where men die more.
