LXD has a built-in DNS server which can export specific zones to an external authoritative DNS server through AXFR. Those zones contain instance and router records as well as additional custom records.

How to set dns resolv for lxc cluster? ping <cont_nam>.lxd doesnt work. it feels like it would be different story

Thanks for the video, that's a great feature.
You mentionned it's requred to install a "proper" DNS server, is it possible to use an existing dnsmasq instead?
I's like to use my router's dnsmasq as it's my main DNS server at home.
