PRINTING HALFTONE IMAGES WITH GHOST SCRIPT IN CORELDRAW

In this video I show you how to use a program called GhostScript and Ghostview to print your halftone images that you create in CorelDraw. This is the 1st of a video series on halftone printing.
Ghostscript is a free rip that will allow you to print photographic looking halftone images - No Expensive RIP software needed. This program does the exact same thing for free that Accurip and SImple Seps does when it comes to out putting haltones. It is very easy to use and after watching this video - you too will be able to RIP for Free!!!!.

OMG!!! If I could hug you through this screen I would! I have be going out of my mind, struggling with printing out halftones. Oddly, enough I was able to do it without issues but somewhere along the way either, from a Corel upgrade, an XP upgrade, printer driver issue or combination thereof, I was no longer able to print halftone bmp/photos. I've read countless articles, watched numerous videos, posted for help on said videos in addition to various screen printing forums all to no avail and lo and behold your video was the answer to a long sought after question. I believe the problem is in the older versions of Corel it wasn't as technologically advanced where halftones are concerned so the features to adjust them from within the software was quite limited. With the advance of such features in newer versions, while giving more control over the halftone features, it made users of old software have to be made aware of the improvements and how to use them. Since I rarely do halftone printing I was at a loss when I upgraded Corel versions twice without reading up on the changes within the software. I've uninstalled Corel and reinstalled different versions, updated printer drivers, numerous print samples, yada yada yada- nothing worked. This video FINALLY solved the problem. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this video and I plan to share it with others who I've found along my halftone problem journey.

I am using an HP laser PS printer and though I can no longer print halftones directly to the printer I've been using Ghostscript as my work-around. I hope to be burning a screen within the next 3 days using my new-found process. Thank you once again!

Make Money Screen Printing . I'm afraid you're working double. It is NOT necessary to convert to grayscales and then to bitmap and add frequency and angles in corel.
The beauty of GOSTSCRIPT is that it avoids all those steps you just have to "print" a Postscript file from corel and in dialog box fill the fields with your need for printing.
Once I do this open the generated file in corel with Gostscript and print from there.
One last thing Gostscript preview does not show the halftone, but BELIEVE ME everything is fine GOSTSCRIPT creates the half tone in INTERNAL form and your impression will be ok.
