I was a total stranger to Rob reaching out to him to tell him that I looked forward to his videos because I would watch them at my chemotherapy appointments. He reached out to me and sent me a hoodie to wear to my winter appointments. I found out on Monday that my cancer is in remission as I was watching the Goodbye Vinwiki video, the timing still gives me chills. I Love you Rob!!

He messaged me back, a random commenter, and said for my wife and me to stop on by and meet everyone anyways, it doesn't matter the shops not open yet... Amazing human.... I have seen countless clips of Rob "Rabbit" Pitts on Instagram, tiktok, youtube shorts and every time I would see one, I would think "who is this guy". Every time I would see a clip pop up I couldn't stop watching. He had the "gift". As someone else commented even though they never met Rabbit, they felt like they could've been great friends; I feel the same way. Rest in Peace Rabbit. What a legend!

Rip to the greatest automotive storyteller of all time! Rabbit was a man I've always wanted to meet, and it saddens me that in this world, I never will. Over the past few years, his videos have truly inspired me as a fellow gear head and OBS fanatic. It's funny to recount the times that some of my family and friends have walked in, heard his voice, and said, "Is that Rabbit?" Though they had never watched him, they knew that iconic voice! He was a legend who did more with 45 years than most could do with 80, and he will be forever missed! My condolences go out to his loved ones, his family, and the entire car community! 44 years old. No celebrity passing has ever affected me like this. No character in film or tv has ever hit me like this. But here I am with tears rolling down my face. Last time I cried was 15 years ago when I buried my mom. No clue why rabbits passing is hitting me like this. But to say your passing is hard hit to many is the biggest understatement I could make.
