I see a lot of people talking abou Uta’s power and character, but imagine being sleep deprived and drunk when that trippy shroom section of the song comes on. That’s how I experienced this song with my friend.

I cannot understate the power of the Uta-Uta no mi. Like this shit is legitimately terrifying for all sides, It's taxing for the user's energy and it's also dangerous for those under the manipulation and for those in the range of it too.

It's why I love this scene because it shows what Uta is capable of and her current state of mind because of the mushrooms.

One of my favorite parts of this movie especially in this scene is that she uses pretty much everyone else as puppets to battle with with one exception luffy and his crew which I believe is that she does care about a lot not willing to see him in that way

Uta's fruit is just overpowered. She can control anyone who hears her song, she can use the devil fruit powers of her victims and, if needed, she could have easily killed anyone she was controlling. The only weanesses are the basic df weaknesses, the user's body and the need to sleep. Well, and of course the ability to sing and create lyrics

Just think about the terror Blackbeard could cause with this fruit. He doesn't need to sleep so one of the main weaknesses of the fruit is gone. Since he is ruthless, he won't hold back like Uta (she didn't really hurt anyone) and he would also make full use of all the fruit users he would control. Moreover, he has a strong body, so it's more difficult to take him down, especially if he would use haki
