Main crop potato reveal, Laura, seed from the Supermarket.

I was a bit worried about one or two buckets of potatoes, thought it best to investigate, I was more than surprised with the outcome.
There is absolutely no need to buy seed potatoes, find something you like at the local supermarket, give them a wash to remove anything they have been sprayed with, chit and plant.

Thanks for showing that. I'm growing a few 'shop bought' Manitou this year, which are a Laura - Maranca cross. I'd never heard of Laura spuds before so was interested to see your reveal.

Have you seen Laura potatoes anywhere else besides Tesco? They have a pretty good write up in European countries. Based upon your amazing harvest, I wouldn't mind trying them.
