I will be discussing bags, flashlights, knives, multitools, pen, wallets, key organizers, pry tools, functional clothing, watches, electronics, and much more. Because I also love to modify these items, there will be videos on tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, scissor, wrenches, and power tools.

I try to read every comment so pls feel free to ask any questions below! Thanks for stopping in!

Your custom builds are sick! Funny comments of ppl saying they don’t like them… no one cares! They’re CUSTOM for him. That’s the point of custom! 😂 😂

Modding tools is the forefront of effiency increments in existing tools and bringing inovation through either combination or addition/subtraction and evolving into eventually entirely new products.
Its by far my favorite of content

In time for Halloween, Dom "Frankenstein's" a Leatherman 😅

One cool thing I don't think I heard you mention about your hybrids: it looks like only having outer implements on one side means that there's a bigger gap in the handles on one side when the pliers are out. So you still have fast access to a blade, but you can also avoid "Wave bite" when using the pliers or cutters.

Side note: I don’t care for the bulk of multiholsters and most of the stock holsters. I got an excellent holster from Hold My Gear( I think) for my 300 Supertool. It’s a QuickDraw type that works with using one finger. Best I’ve ever found. Broke the first one crouching down. Broke the belt clip. The replacement has a full belt loop. Indestructible.
Called the company to order the full loop style and they sent it, plus a free replacement for the broken one without even asking for it. Good company.

I'm getting a bit tired of the "you'll get what we give you" attitude of some of our U.S. tool and knife makers. Meanwhile the overseas companies are camping out in the I.G. and YouTube comments taking notes and making changes to the tools and the product lineup itself. I feel that our companies are approaching this with an arrogance that they think is justified by their past performance. There are too many other options these days to have to settle.

I'm hearing of you helping with design of new overseas made tools (and see it with other Youtubers/tools also) but have never even heard of Leatherman (insert a few other Corps) communicating with the base community about what we'd like to carry.

I feel like me carrying the tool on my actual jobsite (contractor/remodeling) isn't their focus anymore. Granted i'm happy to carry the tools that they designed a decade ago because they got it pretty damn close to right. but they weren't perfect and i'd slap down $80-$150 any day for the new version that included some innovations from the last decade, instead of $25-$60+ more for the same exact tool.
The pocket candy is great and i own some, but i want TOOLS that have been innovated upon for several iterations beyond where they've last left their hard work models. That is if they insist on the current pricing.

Just to mention it, County Comm is has quite a few interesting sales right now. I saw $150 backpacks for around $30-40 and also that Aviator B3 pen/cil you like is on sale for like $15 (Black+blue). A few flashlights and utility knives are also on sale. Looks like they had more yesterday than today. I have no self control when I go there.

One other thing to check when you get a new Leatherman (only applies to the ARC): make sure it has a thumb stud. Was shocked to see one (out of many tbf) come through without one 😂

Boss, they have two different kind of Shears. The raptors rescues (the one with the oxygen key and seat belt cutter)
Then the raptor response

A little hack on the Leatherman pivot to get ARC like action…zap the very center of the pivot with a tig torch…one hand smooth action.

I have the OG Leatherman Raptor and use them more often than I thought I would as and average joe. My coworkers at the auto plant get more use out of it than I do personally as I find myself taking on small task with it because sadly they don't live the edc life. I've fallen out of love with the the holster though. Once it worked it's way loose and fell apart, no matter what I do to it now it can't find it's sweet spot again. I've switched to a soft leather holster that I can keep an edc O'Pen mini, Seeker 4 mini, and Leatherman surge on as well. I'd much rather have a hard leather holster but sadly no one makes them.

Funny, I unboxed my moss green bond while watching this video, just before you opened yours. I don't mind the spring tension, I appreciate it since the tools don't lock. The green nylon sheath is great. Fits the tool like a glove and is extremely slim. I purchased the pocket clip, but tempted to belt carry now.

That ST300 Surge is my favorite, if only Leatherman's R & D department watched your channel.

I like a hex driver because it can hold Japanese Industrial Standard Phillips and also torx.

Love the mods. Dual files would be practical for what I do, interesting take. Looks like the sheath is the correct one (Tti), it fits the package. I prefer the nylon, mostly because it has that place for a ferro rod (Surge pouch).

I might be wrong but it looks like the new Raptor is actually the Raptor Response. Your old one is the Raptor Rescue and both are available on their site. Again, I could be wrong but comparing what you shared in the video with their site, I'm assuming you are comparing the Response to the Rescue.
