This was such a comically poorly handled case. Where did all the evidence go and why is the evidence available blatantly ignored.

Question is where tf is Jay Wilds and why aren’t more questions being put to him and what he knew about the murder given so much of his involvement was looked over

Adnan should have never been put behind bars! Who will pay his restitution?!? 24 years of a man’s life taken for what????

Even if we think he did it, there’s not enough evidence to put him in jail. He should’ve never been convicted based on the evidence.

Man, that first season of Serial I was like had me bouncing back and forth between "is he guilty, no I think he's innocent, but then again..." Glad to see he's free, but I DO hope Hae's family finds justice in who really did it.

Miscarriage of justice, he is guilty.

If you listen to other sources outside of serial he seems pretty clearly guilty and people keep forgetting about Hae

I'm surprised they are basing this on him not being proven innocent, that's not how it works. I feel for Hae's family, the murderer needs to be caught and thrown in jail, but it's pretty clear Adnan isn't the murderer. Law enforcement picked their suspect and didn't do their due diligence. A hard look at the boyfriend needs to be made - find the match to the dna evidence.

Honestly, I never thought he did it. Jay lied so much and they still believed him.

He can’t look people in eyes because he knows where he belongs

He is a master manipulator, but he didn't receive a fair trial. It was right that he was released. That's what the law demands.

I'm glad the bloke is finally free for the meantime. Whether he did it or not I feel he probably knows who really did it or who is involved. Jay had his car, phone and most of all Adnan had the motive for the murder. Hope Hae's family get the justice they deserve. Inshallah 👍

I think the judges need to look closer to her family. This man is innocent and they’ve had him locked up for 22 years and they’re still pushing for him to stay in prison. Think it was someone in her family that’s done this and they’re trying to take the limelight off themselves. The DNA does not match him.

He killed her. No question. Don’t let this liar free. Glad he’s back in jail now.

Syed's release was a political move by Prosecutor Marilyn Mosby, who was fired and facing criminal charges. She was hoping to gain political support from some portion of the 750 million Podcast listeners who were duped by Sarah Koenig's efforts to keep people tuned into her Podcast by persuading them that he could be innocent, while evidence clearly proves his guilt, as the judge, jury and millions of critical thinkers who consider evidence and not Podcast entertainment to determine guilt. Any suffering Adnan's family endured is on him.

There is no bigger collection of crooks than than law enforcement in the state of Maryland.
