Interesting talk, learnt a lot and I'm sure the work you guys are making at TMobile is very cool. I love Rasa and its open source apporach, so I'm going to say something that may be uncomfortable.
You mention corporations being able to "innovate" because of their data (hoarding/monopolizing) capacities like it is a good thing. You mention academics not having access to this data, like it just magically happened, like it isn't the product of corporations taking ownership over user data - when users are at gunpoint about giving up this data, and most don't understand what this means, or the value the data holds. Data Science will keep being a private business and not an actual science for this kind of naive apporach to a very unethical situation.
