Comedian Alex Stein slams backlash over NFL star's commencement speech

Comedian Alex Stein discusses the controversy surrounding Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker over his graduation speech at Benedictine College.

Mr Butker faced backlash for his comments directed at women during the commencement speech.

“What’s a little more alarming Rita, is the non-attention that Rashee Rice is getting – his teammate,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Who was arrested in Dallas for reckless driving. They found drugs in the car, has multiple arrests for assault. Nobody’s complaining about him.

“We live in the upside-down world."

I am a women, I am a football fan and a long time Chiefs fan.
I don’t like to throw another team player under the bus, but he is absolutely right about where is the outrage over Rashee Rices behavior!
And I’m not Taylor Swift fan she is to young for me, and i don’t have a dislike for her, but I do find her ridiculous actions of her fans annoying, and how everyone is supposed to want her injected into every aspect of FOOTBALL just because she is dating a football player . I know it isn’t her fault or request, but she can speak up and say to them

“don’t use me, don’t change things because of me don’t make everything about me “
But she is an entertainer, they know there is no such thing as bad publicity, as long as they are talking about you, you are relevant.
Just like those who tried to rage on Harrison for his beliefs, it would have gone unnoticed and not given one second of thought, until they had to spread it on the internet to try and “expose” him with their Outrage. All they did was make it more popular, him more popular and it’s backfiring in their face .
