Using the horn to warn other drivers that you are there.

Sometimes other drivers will not see you and using your horn to warn them of your presence is essential to avoid having a car crash.

Horn plays a major role nowadays, cause 98% of drivers not checking their mirrors or seating on their phones at traffic lights.

Rule 130 of the Highway Code, if the area is marked with chevrons and bordered by solid white lines you must not enter it except in an emergency, no idea why the lorry and the car are crossing the solid white line to enter the chevron area, you can only cross a solid white line to enter a chevron area in an emergency, getting past a recovery vehicle isn’t an emergency, they should wait until the recovery vehicle moves out of the way and then they should go, if I was in that situation I’d try to get around the stationary vehicle by not crossing the solid white line and by not entering the chevron area but if there was no space then I’d wait for the recovery vehicle to get out of the way and then I’d go.
