Tailored luxury with the GM of Armani Hotel Dubai

Discover Hosco's interview with the general manager of the Armani Hotel in Dubai, Mark Kirby. Mark spoke to us about the partnership, the hotel’s exquisite service and facilities, and what luxury means for him.

Mark states, the Armani Hotel Dubai was a joint venture that saw “two very iconic brands come together”. Those brands being Giorgio Armani S.p.A and Emaar Properties. Thanks to Emaar Properties’ wealth of development expertise, Giorgio Armani was able to fully realise his vision of the Dubai Hotel down to the last detail.

The Armani Hotel is located inside the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa. Mark told us that guests are absolutely blown away by the extraordinary size of the building and how it is actually just the beginning of the amazing experience that awaits them. From the 7 restaurants, deluxe spa, and advanced technology in the hotel makes for a magnificent stay.

The hotel focuses on tailored experiences. Each guest is connected with a personal lifestyle manager to make sure that they make the most of their time inside and outside of the hotel. The guest can contact their lifestyle manager before arriving in Dubai so that everything is planned for them, from local recommendations for restaurants to activities in the city, they go the extra mile.

Mark thinks that “we all believe that we know what luxury is, but luxury is changing”. This goes hand-in-hand with the hotel's bespoke services. He knows that each guest has a different perspective of what luxury is so they must adapt and invent new ways to deliver a personalised and luxurious experience.
