The same thing can be done with a microwave safe rubber maid storage container with the lid on loose. We've done it for a long time, pyrex with a loose lid works equally as well. We use 2 cup ones with just a little egg whites, as they're the perfect size for english muffins.

After mixing eggs EXACTLY same way, place egg mixture into a nice sized ceramic coffee mug... about 12-16 oz maybe... cook EXACTLY for same time. Same results for me and two friends. Nothing different in taste. Oh, place any sort of cover over the mug, maybe a plastic microwave safe bowl cover just placed on top.

I have used this eggtastic many times water added to correct line and it explodes in microwave, sometimes it doesn't

Couldn't you do the same thing using a covered Pyrex dish?

Is your microwave 1100 watts? If its not maybe thats why it was not done on the first try. Also I noticed your microwave does not have them thing in the bottom that spins. That helps with more even cooking. Thanks for the video. This looks really cool.

l found one in an Op (thrift to you Americans)shop just the other day..looks new but had no instructions..tried it out for the first time last night and the BOX lies..it says "cooks in under a minute"..FALSE..took MY microwave OVER two minutes to poach two eggs in it..I'll have to try it with the scrambled and see how it goes..but l came looking for a clip just like yours AND it seems to be the ONLY one up..thanks for showing this..

Jalapenos, red pepper, pepper and hot sauce! You do like spicy! I just add salt, pepper and ground cumin but I'll try that combination in my next breakfast.

I couldn't remember the name so I looked it up on Amazon and it was 35.00 🙊 I remember it was 10 when I hot mine. I accidentally broke my lid, but had a lid for a tea cup that fits perfectly 🥰
