Conservation K9 Training Session in Utah

There are few things more fun than watching working dogs work 🐕

Today some of our conservation K9s and their officer handlers completed a training session in Salt Lake. Our dogs are trained, similar to traditional police dogs, to locate and then indicate on specific items. Instead of the typical training to locate drug-related items, our dogs have been trained to find wildlife and wildlife-related items. Our K9s are also tracking dogs and are able to follow the track of wildlife violators, missing children or lost hikers.

Each of our five K9s are POST-certified. We do regular search and detection exercises like this to keep their skills sharp.
We're doggone proud of how the pups performed today. 👏👏👏
