it's kind of funny to find out that lots of people like me were led to this video via Murakami's Kafka on the shore. I just read in English and in Japanese. How wonderful he is to be able to bring people all over the world to his own world.

Hoshino entered the story like a side character.. just a truck driver giving Nakata a lift.
But he's given such a bigger role. He's so simple, not well-read, no special talents.. But we start liking him immensely.. We find him funny. We like him bcos he goes OUT of his way to help Nakata again & again..

I think we all have the coffee shop owner to thank who showed Hoshino this first.

I just remembered when he said “But when I listen to this music, it’s like Beethoven’s right here talking to me, telling me something like, it’s ok, Hoshino, don’t worry about it. That’s life. I’ve done some pretty awful things in my life too. Not much you can do about it. Things happen. You just got to hang in there.” Chapter 46. Bruh his whole journey and his character will be forever my favorite!!!

My girlfriend suggested me this. She was reading Murakami's Kafka on the shore. I'm having no idea what other guys are commenting here. I'm just listening to the soulful tune only. 🙃

Are we all now a part of some strange Murakami's world, and this was our ticket to it?

“Hey, what was that music called again? I forget.”
“Beethoven’s Archduke Trio.”
“March Duke?”
“Arch. Archduke.”

I have nothing witty to add. However, seeing the sense of community in this comment section is pretty wholesome.
