Hi Dan, great review. The image quality seems impressive. I have the RX100 m3 and am not getting the same results. Were the images you took, initially RAW images and then edited or JPEGs that were then edited? I still have a few days to decide whether I want to keep the M3 or not. Thanks!

I thought you were shooting the A6500 in Austin. Were all these shots really with the RX100 V? I think the 4K limit is 5 minutes. How long before you can shoot another 5 minutes?

I had the original rx100 and look back on the files and think they were shot with a mirrorless or dslr.. This camera in good light can actually have better iq than cameras with a kit lens.. I stayed away from the rx line mainly do to a.f. In video but know with the phase detect it's a 24-70 powerhouse in your pocket... I found one used on Best Buy for $850.. merry x mass to me. Is there really a significant improvement over the MKIV besides the AF? I'm really considering getting the IV, it's $300 cheaper, enough to get all the accessories I need for the camera after purchase.
