Fix settings not opening in windows 10

The settings it's not opening in my Windows. open command prompt with administrator.

sfc /scannow

net user User2 password /add
net localgroup administrators User2 /add

Guys if Your settings and search bar not working, here is the sollution: Open "control panel" from left bottom windows button list or click "Win+R" and type control panel and hit enter, then search for create restore point and click on it, after that click on system restore, then check the latest restore point and then click ok finish. This will restore your windows registry, setting, filles to previous state when it was in working condition.... and it worked for me. At first my search setting nothing was opening, i tried sfc scannow it showed that there are corrupted files but windows cannot fix it... but after this solution, it is fully repaired now, no corrupted files found.. the restoring process will take sometime around 30mins, dont this comment 👍

For anyone wondering, the first command " sfc /scannow " runs a scan that can potentially fix the corrupted files immediately, my problem was solved this way.

Doesn't work. If you grand Cmd/powershell admin access and follow the instructions this show "Windows resource protection could not start the repair service"

Why is settings app prone to that kind of problem? The OG Control Panel has no problem yet microsoft will gonna remove it in the future

It don't work just reinstall windows but if u want to try out this video and your search bar doesn't work
1open task manager
2 click on file
3 select "run new task"
4 type cmd( short for command prompt)
5 tick the box that allows administrative privileges
6 press ok
7 repeat the same step for the next one

My search bar and settings didn't work either i just reinstalled windows and it fixed the issue

I have a different problem with the device and I really don't know what to do. I have a computer at home and it keeps showing some problems, for example: it shows me that there is sound on the computer, but when I open any page or if I want to watch a movie, the sound disappears immediately! and when I want to open the settings to see what's up, it won't press the windows icon at all, also when I enter the file explorer (my computer) it just kicks me out of the explorer every time! I really don't know what to do, can someone tell me a way to fix it without having to reset or reinstall windows!
