The Dying Lands culminates in this boss battle with the Grimhorn, which you have to kill, despite it being one of Fo’s Land Gods. It’s essentially a machine triceratops, so it’s got crazy horns and a sturdy head plate. Follow along with the video to see how to kill it fast without getting too much damage along the way. Once you’ve beaten the Grimhorn, you’ll then have a few machines to face, but with the technique used in the video you should be able to fly through this quickly too.

Dang this was helpful for certain. I struggle against this boss even with acid arrows. And at one point I defeated him to get one shotted by that ravenous mechanical bird.

I managed to kill the grimhorn almost instantly with two ADVANCED acid traps and 10 acid arrows. Setup the traps consecutively with a reasonable distance from each other so it strikes twice, while it is down strike the grimhorn consistently with acid arrows. Killing the grimhorn early means the other machines will come for you, especially the bird like one so stick near varl and zo so that they can help you kill the darn bird like machine. Hope this helps!

in ultra hard, you get one shot by literally anything. he is SO tanky, even with both of his weapons used against him, he still has a LOT of hp left.

was struggling thru this encounter, tried countless times. it wasn’t until i was reading these comments that i realized i could change the difficulty i’m so used to playing games with no difficulty adjustment setting that the notion didn’t even cross my mind. 😅

Tip: use your accid on the guns when it goes so when you shoot at it he gets weaker and weaker to then use the gun that falls. Finally got it after my 40000th try

Took me two tries and the second try was pretty darn close to this. Acid traps, acid arrows and then I hit it with explosive spikes. The other machines are just cleanup after that.
