Opening up my first booster box of Vivid Voltage! I want that fat jumbus Pikachu!

I know this set has been out forever but this is the first time I was able to get my hands on vivid voltage! We all know that big fat pikachu is the goal in this set but I honestly just love looking at all the new art and looking for the fatties. I don't know why I love fat pokemon but here we are. I don't play pokemon tcg and haven't played pokemon since emerald, and stopped watching the anime after black and white, but I love these videos, it's so calm and something I can listen to while doing chores and hearing jigglys reactions at good cards make my day. If you're confused about why eggsecute evolves into exeggutor (egg into a tree), eggsecute are actually tree eggs which are seeds. Learned it from Lockstin explaining why pokemon are the types that they are.

Bro I was never huge on Pokémon as a kid, so when I saw the Metagross art I was like "damn that man is 30 feet tall" and then the subtitle flashed saying 5'3" and I was very embarrassed 😂😅

The one thing, that kinda stands me off collecting pokemon cards is that the don't have a common art style. It's just all over the places. From awesome arts to 3D renders and arts that look like I drew them, when I was a pokemon fan 20 years ago(total sheit if someone missed the hint). Now it's even an IRL photos of figurines. :?

So here’s my idea about exeggute and exeggutor: I think the eggs of exeggute are similar to acorns or any other seed like nut that evolves into a tree. I know they’re supposed to be eggs, but I think their evolution comes from the idea they’re in some way ‘insemenated’ so the eggs become a tree.

I just found out what *Scalpers* meant and it makes so much sense now! I was wondering why everytime I went to Walmart that the cards section in general was *Cleaned out*
picked clean like a bone and why some stuff was locked up behind a glass case. Buying out the entire stock. I understand now, it's terrible what they were doing, nothing but greed with them. I just read a post about how McDonald's had to limit the amount of card packs they gave out with the happy meal because individuals kept buying a bunch of happy meals for the cards with no intention to eat the food.

And it's not even pokemon, baseball cards, star wars legos, brand shoes, anything that can make a profit. Everytime I go to walmart now i check the toy sections and you can just tell which items are preyed upon by scalpers. Certain sections are stocked full while others are bone clean, it used to be regular isles of toys but now a bunch of stuff is locked up behind cases .

I actually beat Whitney at her own game recently. I had a furret that knew defense curl and I taught it rollout, I the proceeded to defense curl 6 times against her clefairy and then used rollout by the time she sent out miltank it went down in one hit.
