Watch as delighted studentscollect and open their A-Level results at a school in Norwich.

Thousands more students from the most disadvantaged backgrounds have been accepted onto university courses this year compared to the last time students sat A-level exams before the pandemic.

Around 6,800 of this group got the grades for their first or second choice university, which is a rise from 3,770 in 2019, according to Ucas.

No Excuses, They Should have Studied and Sat their Exams despite Covid...! Text Books, can be bought relatively Cheaply...! I hope the Universities make them Sit an Entrance Exam...! 🤔😇

They'll soon come back down to reality when they realise they've wasted 3 years or more at Uni studying for a pointless degree that they'll never use. And racked up £40k of debt for the privilege.

The knowledge required to gain an A level these days is pretty piss poor.Exam standards have been dropping for years and anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.Results have long been manipulated to try and hide a shocking fall in teaching standards.
