Acknowledging the history of slavery, Native American persecution, marginalization of various groups of ppl, is not unpatriotic. It's accepting what happened so we can do better and move forward as a society.

Japanese American history is American history.

Jewish American history is American history.

Chinese American history is American history.

….This is true for every nationality of the world regarding how immigrants from everywhere shaped what America is.

American history is comprised of the cultures and experiences from ALL over the entire planet.

There is much to learn as to how America has been enriched by many cultures as well as what mistakes have been made throughout America’s history.

Stop this effort to erase the teachings of full history…even if dark, there’s much to learn.
