Dong Bei, Inner Mongolia and Yunnan are also some of my favorite places in China. Another very beautiful area is Daocheng Yading, 稻城亚丁，in Sichuan Province. It's high up in the mountains, close to Tibet.

i love western china ... spent 3 years there from Chengdu west is some of my coolest riding experiences and memories.... now back in Beijing... loving it again. great list, really can't go wrong anywhere.
