No, Ms. Turd, it's a setback towards YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, not women.

So true ! His victory is epic in that it now clearly and legally sets a precedent to help victims of both sexes and all ages to come forth without fear ! People Are Abused By People ! It's All Relative !

Yeah Amber heard's lying didn't help women at all if that's what she meant

Using the "Woman" card to win a trial is itself a setback for women.

She doesn't represent me and Johnny is the face of men who are victims of DA. She was never abused never mind a survivor. She was the instigator!

AMBER IS THE ONLY ONLY ONE THAT SET BACK FOR WOMEN!!!
SHE NEEDS SERIOUS HELP, BUT NARCISSISTIC PEOPLE DO NOT EVER CHANGE!!!

“Tell the world, Johnny. Tell them, ‘I, Johnny Depp, I’m a victim too of domestic violence, and it was a fair fight, ’ and see if people believe or side with you.”

Unfortunately, saying "I'm a survivor" isn't enough. And should never have been enough.

The AUDACITY she had the guts to post on twitter and play the victim after what she did

wtf..............

Why is she tweeting #me too . 1 she hit Johnny multiple times and 2 she is a lier

I don't think it's a setback. I think it has opened the conversation for both genders who have been abused. Also she weaponized it to cause harm to him when he did no such abuse. There's a difference between not being able to speak out about abuse and lying about abuse. She needs to know the difference. Seems very delusional to me

This does set back the version of the "MeToo" movement that used the reasoning behind it to ruin the lives of many good men and chose to use that same reasoning to ignore the men that need/needed help. So yea, it would set it back

"men are part of me too movement"
"Terry Crews was laughed at when tried to participate"

True, however we have not yet arrived in a time where women (as she wrote) are humiliated for speaking up or not taken seriously for being victims of DA. She is so delusional.

Right! Domestic violence doesn't discriminate its alive in rich or poor men and women alike! Abuse has no bias

Listen I was abused and agree we need to voice it but men can get abused and Johnny has a right to speak out also. He was a victim. It was hard for him to admit it being an a Lister male celebrity as well as a man. I thank him for standing up for himself

She isn't a victim in any sense of the word, and she didn't "Speak Up", all she did was be the abuser and make things more difficult for real survivors. I'm so glad the world sees her for exactly what she is now...

Exactly, it would have only been a set back if the real abuser Amber would have won!!!! Poor man has had to live with in this relationship and than 6 years after it in thank God the truth came out

You can’t be found “guilty” in a civil suit, you are found liable

"Me Too" & "Him too" cross a line when they go beyond supporting victims" right to have their voices heard & get their day in court yet ignore the "innocent until proven guilty" human right. I'm a DA & SV survivor who watched the entire trial, and feel offended by assertions that the internet &/or JD's fame swayed me. Amber does NOT represent me, and the only ill-will I feel about her is based on her continued insistence that she does! Hear all her audio tapes.
