I work as a dialysis nurse. Im telling you right now. A good nurse is a patients best advocate. Maybe I'm biased. But doctors barely know the patients name. The nurse brings up the concerns and the doctors give orders to address them. A nurse that doesn't care means the patient is overlooked and problems don't get addressed until it's a huge issue that (many times) cause the patient to be hospitalized.... That's only one perspective but what do I know 😊

I’m a fourth year medical student and I was waiting this entire video for him to mention the American Medical Association. Some great points were made and great video but this only touches the surface. It’s a crazy situation.

I remember my Food Science teacher (awesome guy), basically tell us "Try to go to the hospital as rarely as possible.
Besides the questionable people you honest to God wonder how they got a medical license, they are incentivized to get you hooked on drugs and meds rather than actually helping you."
His takeaway was that, eat healthy, be physically active and most importantly, have a family doctor.
After thinking about it, having a family doctor is far safer.
They're kind of incentivized to keep you and your family alive for as long as possible compared to regular doctors who care more about how much you can become a repeat customer.

FYI, leaches are still used in modern medicine. They're good for getting blood to flow to areas where surgery has been performed. Plastic Surgeons use them often.

I love Jake’s video but this one especially is reaaally scary. Jake interviews a guy who got literally sued by the department of justice for making false claims. We don’t even know if this guy has a medical background cuz literally no information on his LinkedIn or on the web. The guy doesn’t even provide a proper claim, majority of it being “oh but my son….”, “doctors says …. But I’m doing fine…” type of comments. Yes, the healthcare system is very messed up, but this is just another marketing video that goes something like “You see all these medicine that doctors provide? They are dangerous, but this product Xlear is not. Go and buy”

The arrogance, pointless rules, superiority complex, and incompetence of the people I had to interact with was insane. If you go around telling people they’re heroes, they’ll start to believe it.
