SNOWBOARDING ON WATER - POND SKIM ADVENTURE

Snowboarding and Skiing across water is always a good springtime adventure. There is a short window where the lake has melted, but there is still enough snow to snowboard down towards it. I had been checking on it for a few days, and when the weather was good, it was time to grab the skis and snowboards and give it a go!

I hope you enjoy this video, its all about having fun on your snowboard, or skis, and not taking anything too seriously.

I still can’t get over how fast you were going down to the lake! It sounded like a jet flying over the sky. I have watched pond skim twice at my local mountain, but I have never heard that flyby sound! Perhaps our pond is smaller so one does need that much speed. That’s so cool.

The pond skim at all three local mountains in my area were canceled due to COVID-19 and unseasonably warm weathers we had in US East Coast. Thanks for sharing your fun pond skim with the world. Living vicariously via my favorite snowboarding YouTubers as my quarantine therapy. :)

Makes me miss Snowboarding so much man, moved from Alaska down to Texas. Where the most snow I've seen is like a quarter inch

Great video. I’ve always wanted to do a pond skim but after nearly 50 years skiing (one or 2 weeks holidays) I’ve never had the opportunity. Hopefully one day soon!
