How to install Mojo on Windows || Configure Modular's Programming Language & Write your First App

Показать описание
The Mojo programming language from Modular AI isn't natively supported on Windows.
However, with a little bit of effort, and a little help from the Windows subsystem for Linux (WSL), you can get Windows and Mojo to work together.
In this quick Mojo tutorial, I'll show you how to configure Mojo on Windows, and also take you through some language basics:
- Running the Mojo REPL programs on Windows
- Creating standalone Mojo apps on Windows
- Use the let and var keywords
- Declare typed variables
- Compare Python's def vs fn method syntax
- Explore similarities between Mojo and Java
This isn't a full blown 'how to program in Mojo' tutorial. It's just a quick video to help you get Mojo on Windows setup and configured, and teach you how to get a Mojo program running.
It's a great start, and if you enjoy it, stay tuned for more great Mojo programming language content. Who knows, we might even set up Visual Studio Code and show you how to program Mojo in an IDE.
Trust me, Mojo and VS Code are a great pair! It'll take your AI and ML programming to a whole new level!
