How much pressure can your arm support?
And what if there was a way to expand your limits?

We look at one of basic Aikido exercises called "the unbendable arm". The idea of extending your arm, or reaching beyond uke's shoulder, can actually transfer important part of the pressure on uke's shoulder. This way the nage can support much more pressure with less effort.

And this is also why Marcin is falling down in one of the scenes - taking himself the pressure he's applying on Durward's shoulder.

If you find this exercise useful and interesting, let us know in the comments and subscribe to follow future videos :)

Same thing Endo Ryokyu was teaching at his Tao Shiatsu workshop. 🙂🙂 Ki is really there and we can learn how to use it, for our health, others health, martial arts and... fun! 🙃🙃
