It's worth mentioning that the increase in efficency was due to the mold not understanding the concept of mountains and rivers... When the scientists added salt to tell the mold "hey you can't build here" the mold actually reoriented itself to fit the human design almost perfectly, which is even crazier to me!

Edit: guys I didn't say the mold was some sort of super genius I'm just saying it's kinda cool that a simple system solves complex problems. I just think they're neat 👉🥔
