Once again, I love Roman’s methodical and patient demeanor throughout that whole exchange and when he raised the stakes, and I was like “well played Roman, well played Tribal Chief”. He pulls it off so well. All that was missing was Roman throwing out a very smug and confident “believe that” at the end of his “I go on a long vacation until wrestlemania” now that would be a proper Reigns callback for old times sake.

It’s crazy how much things have changes between these guys. Once upon a time, they were the figureheads of maybe the best young tag team in the WWE. Now, they’ve broken up and become two of the very best individual WWE superstars in the game. This reminds me a lot of what happened with ECC. Edge and Chris Jericho spearheaded the trio & once the group disbanded, they became 2 of the best individuals in the WWE as well
