One of the things I have always found most attractive in a man is self-assurance. The knowledge he is worthy and has something good to offer. For example, when I was single, if a man I liked asked me what I was doing that evening and I said I had no plans, I would be thrilled (and impressed) when he shot back something like, “you’re coming out with me”. He would already have a plan of how he wanted to spend time with me, and it wouldn’t matter whether it was to do a menial errand, drive across town to collect something he’d bought, or to check out a new food haunt he wanted to try; he offered something worthwhile in a confident (and alluring) way which he knew I wouldn’t want to refuse. It wouldn’t matter what we were going to do because he was purposeful to make time with me and offered (himself really) with confidence.

Also, as a woman who is probably too empathetic and cries at the silliest of things, I particularly benefit from being around men who can sit with my emotion and compose me through their own composure. My boss is particularly good at this (and somehow I apparently keep him sane, too, so it’s a win-win 😂)!

Men, women are intrigued by this masculine trait. “Show composure.” Don’t suppress your feelings but learn to manage your emotions. Be the example!! You are the head. Act accordingly. Women can be emotional. Two unstably emotional beings will only end in more poor judgment. Express yourself without being reckless. Stir her in the same direction by keeping your tone at an appropriate level and speaking with authority. Lastly, be a man of your word. Guys, this still hold much value.
