Golf is probably the easiest sport for them to take over because they dont have to build stadiums or arenas, or team buildings etc. They would have to drop 100+ billion off the bat to compete with NFL, so thats a tough investment.

The fund the Saudis use cannot be used as a money printer in the way theyre describing here. The 32 teams in the NFL are seperate entities under one umbrella, the fund alone would have to sell off a considerable amount of their assets in order the form a league that is capable of competing with the NFL the necessary marketing and stadium construction alone would be well over 40bill for enough teams to be true competition. Thats not includong rosters coaches executives owners network coverage, its just not feasible atm.
