What you ordered is Nanjing roast duck. There is another famous type which is Nanjing Salted Duck or named as Gui Hua Duck. They are not the same, but both very delicious.

The sweet sour plum juice is one of the most popular local beverages in Nanjing, especially drinking in summer hot days, and it can open your appetite. Sorry to see you leaving Nanjing soon, but you haven't been to Nanjing east suburban yet, where it is the most beautiful places in Nanjing, like Ming Tomb (Shi Xiang Lu) and Zhong Shan Ling.
