Because Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune is the best arcade racer ever and this game's whole driving experience is very similar, though MT's soundtrack was more a mix of trance. The stellar music, speed, traffic, almost everything right down to the interconnecting highway layout and aesthetic made me feel like I was playing some fangame spiritual successor. Especially when I hit a long tunnel. I wouldn't be surprised if the dev(s) weren't outright fans of that series. With 2-4p online and some handling tweaks it might even fill the void.

Like if you showed 0:39 and onward to any fan of that series they would all think this was either a clone or some kind of prototype. No question. This game could potentially be huge if they play their cards right.

This game needs to have a system for escaping from the police, hiding in some garages or workshops on the outskirts or even near the highways of the city, exactly like real night runners

Been playing this game a lot. can't wait for the full version. I hope that it will have some kind of of multiplayer mode in it. I also hope that they put some more breakcore/jungle beat music in it. I recognize a lot of the artist that are in it. I think artist like SKeinn, BlckSmth, in explosions, blushʕ ꈍᴥꈍʔ, and odysseus would fit in well.
