Sorry if I sound a bit clueless, but I’m really not very technical. I’m looking for a good docking station for my laptop to connect it to an ultrawide monitor. The issue is that the screen has a resolution of 3840 x 1440 pixels, and I also want to connect an additional monitor, while using several Samsung SSDs through the docking station as well. Is all of that even possible?

The specs of my laptop say I have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports display output and has a data speed of up to 10Gbps. I also have two USB 4.0 Gen 3 Type-C ports that support displays and data speeds of up to 40Gbps. But can I actually connect my laptop to a docking station, connect two external monitors through the docking station, and edit from the Samsung drives? Isn’t that too much information to pass through one cable?

Hello folks. Quick question: Im using an HP Elitebook 840 G8 and I'm looking for a Dock and this HP G5 sounds good, however do you know if this supports 3 external FHD screens at the same time? I'm asking because I have an old dock for my Lenovo and only one at a time is allowed to be used, even if I have both connected at the same time.

I purchased a CALDIGIT T3 last year about this same time time frame that crapped on me. I just went into my studio after non use for the past 4 months to find the unit unresponsive and no power. I actually attempted to contact CALDIGIT support to no avail. This is a piece of crap. stop promoting bs that you don't utilize or purchase yourself.
