The problem with this is that Lelouch’s plan seemed to have worked but won’t in the long term. I think AOT’s ending was much more realistic, because the cycle of hate will always continue. It would be wishful thinking if in both scenarios everyone lived peacefully ever after all that.

Actually Eren ends up killing all of his family, he ate his dad and pretty much allowed him mom to be eaten and also killed his grandparents during the rumbling

I remember this anime broke me because it was the first anime (for me) that had a main character's death. I was young at that time and I remember crying realizing how big of a sacrifice he did for the world and for his loved ones. He was my first anti hero mc and I would love to have a son named Lelouch.

Erens pain is so much. He litrelly knew his sad future and saw it happining and the worst part is he had to kill his own mother amd father and killed so many peoples he litrelly knew it that his loved once mikasa will be the one to kill him and he let her kill him.
